Welcome to Sam Hogg’s British Diplomacy Tracker.
Hi, I’m Sam.
Welcome to the briefing notes read in Prime Ministerial offices and FTSE100 boardrooms.
This is an effort to track, contextualise and analyse British foreign and international economic policy, interspersed with history and trade views. In a time of instant gratification on social media apps, screaming headlines from a dying industry, and a largely detached political elite, I want this to provide a slower, more thoughtful analysis of where Britain currently sits in this new era.
I’ve previously written geopolitical analysis read over a million times in 140 countries, from Prime Ministerial offices to FTSE100 boardrooms. Much of my current work involves thinking about the geopolitics of artificial intelligence, which in turn informs my writing.
It will be free for a while.
